Spirulina Natural Habitat
Spirulina can be found in ash lakes near the sea. It use use the sea minerals to grow and the the alkaline medium makes its safe for Spirulina to grow in that environment.
This basic understanding helps understand the nutrient base we use to grow Spirulina. Ash or baking soda is use to create an alkaline environment for the algae.
Volcanic iron feeds the Spirulina in nature, we use iron chelate to do the same.
Nitrates are found from urea of birds, animals and fish🐠 .
